Democracy Takes Revenge through Capitalist Economy
More Privatization of State and Public Property to Further Impoverish Pakistan

After increasing the prices of electricity and petrol to unprecedented levels, Kayani-Sharif government has announced the privatization of another thirty-one public sector entities to further impoverish Pakistan. This was the result of an agreement with IMF which has made it mandatory for the Pakistani government to announce the sale of these firms by the end of September, as a benchmark for disbursement of second tranche of the IMF loan.

Capitalism impoverishes the society by privatizing the property of the state and the public. The state becomes a beggar for even more interest based loans, as it is deprived of the great revenue from heavy industry and infrastructure by which to look after the affairs of the people. The public become paupers struggling to secure even basic needs, as the public is deprived of the immense benefit of public property such as oil, gas and electricity. Thus, capitalism ensures that the wealth of the society circulates only amongst the few wealthy in society. This is far from Islam which uniquely makes provision for what is state, private and public property.
Islam is also distinct from communism which nationalizes everything and makes everything owned by the state, including public and private property, plunging the people into poverty and hardship. That is why people struggled to buy even wheat and potatoes in communist states, whilst the state treasury grew fat on oil and gas revenues.

Only the Khilafah "Caliphate" will implement Islam's rules so that the wealth is circulated within the entire society with a balance that only Allah (swt) is capable of granting for He (swt) Alone is free of the deficiencies of man in determining laws for the economy. Allah (swt) said,

[كَيْ لاَ يَكُونَ دُولَةً بَيْنَ الأَغْنِيَاءِ مِنْكُمْ]

"Lest the wealth circulates solely among the wealthy from amongst you." [Al-Hashr 59: 7]

The current rulers are a tribulation upon the people and a burden that must be removed. They deliberately run state and public properties into the ground so that they can cry that they need privatization to make them profitable now. They even sell off the "golden gooses" that are making huge profits such as the energy giant, OGDCL, and the telecommunications lion, PTCL. And all at the behest of the colonialist, who wish that the Muslims are deprived of the wealth that Allah (swt) has bestowed upon them.
O Armed Forces of Pakistan! Have you not seen enough yet? Or are you waiting for the day when the people seize food from each others mouths? Let there arise from amongst you sincere and brave men to deliver Pakistan from economic destruction by granting the Nussrah for the Khilafah "Caliphate" now.
