A Delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan Meets National Council Member Omar Bashir Musa Discusses with Him the Topic of National Dialogue
(Translated)

On Wednesday, 28th May 2014 CE, a delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan in the city of Gadarif, headed by member of the Wilayah council Bashir Ahmad, and accompanied by the members of Hizb ut Tahrir: Mohamed Hassan Adam, Abdel Samad El Tayeb Ahmed, Osama Abdul Aziz Mansour and Ibrahim Abdel Qader, visited Omar Bashir Musa, a member of the National Assembly. During the visit, the delegation clarified the vision of Hizb ut Tahrir on the national dialogue in three points, namely:

1. That this Dialogue will lead to a compromise solution, that satisfies the interlocutors, and not to the Deen of Islam, which pleases Allah and His Messenger, because the solution to our problems is transcribed in the Book of Allah (swt), which did not leave anything small or great except that He has enumerated it, and in the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saw) as a model for all of us.

2. This Dialogue is prompted by the American government after the former U.S. envoy to Sudan, Princeton Lyman, and Jon Temin prepared a paper entitled: "Pathway to the National Dialogue in Sudan" on 08/13/2013 CE in the American Institute of Peace, which is managed by former U.S. President Carter. The paper ordered the government to pursue a reform program through dialogue involving elements of the current regime, the Islamists, and both armed and unarmed opposition groups; and that this may require a long time, and may demand the postponement of elections in 2015.

3. The ongoing dialogue is in fact to solve the problem of the rulers from the evil they committed, and to fold away their crimes as if they were not present; through the involvement of political parties, and not to solve the problem of ruling which is the Constitution and the laws that originally should be derived from al-Shari'.

The member of the National Council has praised the presentation and said that they are with the Islamic Shariah. He also praised Hizb ut Tahrir and requested it to continue to aware people, and to continue such meetings, after he raised some issues that have been addressed.

The delegation concluded its talk with the member of the National Assembly, stressing that there is no solution to Sudan's problems through dialogue with parties to share power and wealth, rather the solution is to apply the provisions of the Islamic law under the command of a rightly guided Khaleefah in the rightly guided Khilafah "Caliphate" state on the method of the Prophethood.
