Ramadhan Campaign in Tanzania

Yesterday Friday, 05 Ramadhan 1445 H / 15 March 2024 CE activists of Hizb ut Tahrir in Tanzania in some areas conducted Special Ramadhan Campaign under the slogan ‘Ramadhan is Manifestation of Ummah’s Unity’.

Various pickets were held in Dar es Salaam city and Zanzibar, such as outside Masjid Dar us Salaam at Kigamboni, Masjid Idrissa at Kariakoo (both in Dar es Salaam) as well as at an open space close to Darajani Market (Zanzibar).

The campaign vividly explains that the Month of Ramadhan is a clear indication that the Islamic Ummah is a single entity, single personality, as well having single guideline where the commandment of Ramadhan was derived from.

Yet the campaign cautions Muslims that the issue of our unity should not be confined in a ritualistic angle only, rather has to be extended to a political unity under a single global Khilafah (Caliphate) State that would manage Muslims’ affairs.

To attain such unity, the campaign encourages Muslims to engage in the Islamic obligation of the re-establishment of the Khilafah state upon the method of the Prophethood in the Muslim world, through it a proper political unity on the basis of Islam would be achieved and protected.
