A Security Body in Kerkennah is Pursuing Those Who Seek to Save Our People in Gaza Calling on the Armies to Support them, And Considers Them Suspected Criminals Who Deserve to be Investigated and Arrested!!

While Gaza is burning at the hands of the criminal Jewish entity, and women and children are being dismembered in cold blood, in complete silence from the betraying and complicit Arab regimes, at a time when Palestine; the Isra and Mi’raj, the Blessed Land, the first of the two qiblahs, is crying out to the Muslim armies for urgent action to stop the crimes of genocide that doesn't stop.

Following the action of one of the security teams on the island of Kerkennah, on Friday, 19/1/2024, of arresting Brother Fathi Arous from his home, after he delivered a speech that day in front of Al Jazeera Mosque in the Al-Ataya area about the necessity of supporting Gaza and its people, members of Hizb ut Tahrir who participated in the protest were summoned, and they were: Naji Youssef, Abdel Latif Warda, Moez Al-Samit, Farah Farhat, and Mohammad Abdel Razzaq. They appeared yesterday, Monday, 22/1/2024, before the investigation in Kerkennah, which decided to keep them and they were transferred to Sfax.

It is strange today that this security agency in Kerkennah hastened to arrest these members and pursue others, without any clear reason or excuse!

It is astonishing that the existing authority in Tunisia, which claims to stand with the people of Gaza, remains silent about such repeated violations against the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, instead of supporting their actions in seeking support from the armies by mobilizing them to defend our honour, which is being violated by an enemy entity that bombed us in Hammam al-Shatt in 1985. Then returned in 2016 to strut in our streets from Tunisia to Sfax to kill aeronautical engineer Muhammad Al-Zawari, may Allah have mercy on him. Then it comes out unscathed to brag to the world about its crime, and here it is today, not stopping the killing and destruction in Palestine!!

We, in the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah of Tunisia, address our people in Tunisia, especially those with power, and express:

We did not write this statement to complain or seek sympathy, for this is not the time to complain, but rather the time is to be serious, the time is to stop all these farces, the time is to stop this humiliation, to shake off the dust of humiliation and indignity, and break the chains from the locks of the barracks so that the trapped Muslim armies, including the army of Tunisia, can emerge, and carry out their duty to save Palestine and its people.

And know that Allah is your supporter and will not let you down, and remember the saying of Allah (swt):

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ]

“O believers! If you stand up for Allah, He will help you and make your steps firm” [Muhammad: 7].
