The Bloodshed of the People of Shabwa,
Its Responsibility is on Those Who Issued the Orders to Shed It
(Translated)

On Wednesday,10/8/2022, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, issued a clarification statement on the events in Shabwa province. The clarification statement published by the Yemeni news agency, Saba, stated that a number of measures were taken, including the dismissal of some leaders in the province. In addition to the formation of a committee headed by the Minister of Defense and the membership of the Minister of Interior and five members of the Joint Military Security Committee to investigate the facts and find out the causes that led to the loss of lives. And to report the results to the Presidential Leadership Council to take appropriate legal action.

This presidential statement comes after the violent battles that took place which lasted for three days, leaving dozens of dead and wounded, violating the sanctity of shedding the blood of the same people; of one belief and one country, and they know this well as Allah (swt) says:

[وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِناً مُّتَعَمِّداً فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِداً فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَاباً عَظِيماً]

“But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment” [An-Nisa: 93]. Our noble Prophet (saw) said, in the narration of Al-Bara’ Bin A’zib: «لَزَوَالُ الدُّنْيَا أَهْوَنُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ قَتْلِ مُؤْمِنٍ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ»“If this world were to be destroyed, that would be less significant before Allah (SWT) than the unlawful killing of a believer.”

These battles come in light of the deterioration of services in the areas under the control of the Presidential Command Council, including Shabwa, which suffers from poor care in the health, economic, electricity, water and other aspects as a result of the system’s link to the capitalist ideology, which is not concerned with taking care of people’s affairs according to the rules of Islam. But rather it is concerned with the imposition of taxes and customs on the people to further impoverish them, and fill the pockets of those rulers with the funds of public property and state property. This statement also comes in light of the clear division between the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, the supporters and opponents, according to the directions of the parties that support them, especially the position of Representative Abdullah Al-Alimi, in addition to the fact that the Council convened in the absence of Representatives Tariq Salih, Al-Bahsani and Al-Arada.

The one contemplating what happened in Shabwa realizes that it is an exchange of roles between agents who do not honour covenants or kinship with the people of their belief and country. Their only concern is to stay as long as they can on their crooked chairs (seats of power) made from their betrayal of their Ummah and their belief, and their loyalty to the kufr system and its people. Ma’qal bin Yasar narrated from the Messenger of Allah (saw), his saying: «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْتَرْعِيهِ اللَّهُ رَعِيَّةً يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ غَاشٌّ لِرَعِيَّتِهِ إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ»“Any governor in charge of Muslim subjects who dies while acting dishonestly towards them will be excluded by Allah from Paradise.”

O people of Yemen, how long will you continue to be the fuel for the wars in which you are not involved in?! These puppet rulers have isolated Islam from ruling, abused the care for people, and did not stop at this, rather they shed your blood. Is it not incumbent upon you that the blood that was shed, and the lives that were taken, be in the way of Allah as a jihad to carry Islam to the world in order to obtain Allah’s pleasure (swt)?! That will only happen under the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophethood, for which Hizb ut Tahrir works. We ask Allah (swt) to expedite its establishment.
