Yemen's Rulers and their Followers have their Eyes and Hearts Set on the Outside!

During his meeting with members of the European Union, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi emphasized the need for intervention from the regional and international communities in general, and the European Union in particular. He suggested that the state involve international oil companies in the revival and development of the Aden Refinery by issuing a global tender that would include specialized companies such as BP, Shell, Mobil, and Total to enter into a partnership with it. Additionally, during her visit to Moscow, Assistant Secretary-General of the General People's Congress Faika Al-Sayyid Ba'alawi made an open call, reported by Aden Al-Ghad on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, for Russia to have a presence in the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab to create a balance in international presence, according to her statement. This occurred during an interview with the Russian Sputnik Agency.

Anyone who listens to these actions can hardly believe it! The rulers and their followers in Yemen exhibit a remarkable inability to manage the country's affairs politically and economically. The same can be said for the other leaders who have governed Yemen over successive decades.

Yemen possesses qualities that qualify it to lead the world; its people embrace the great Islamic Aqeedah (doctrine), and its unique geographical location overlooks both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, with their marine resources and ports.

Additionally, it has natural resources such as oil and minerals, as well as agriculture. Only lacking someone who can govern to the fullest capacity as the Prophet Muhammad (saw) prayed for it, saying:

«اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي شَامِنَا ويَمَنِنَا» “O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen.”

How and why do these politicians dare to openly extend their hand to foreign entities at a time when our voices have gone hoarse warning the people of Yemen about the intensifying international conflict over them? This conflict includes an old military colonialism that left with its troops but remained with its political influence, and a new colonialism with a new face economic, cultural, social, and educational which has been the root of our misfortunes for more than six decades. During this time, Yemen has witnessed continuous and intermittent internal wars for decades, and the country is still undergoing a severe crisis that threatens to crush it entirely.

The fundamental principle, dear rulers, is that the people of Yemen have entrusted you with and appointed you to take care of their political, economic, social, and foreign affairs, among other responsibilities. The fundamental principle is that you should govern the people according to their great Islamic Aqeedah. However, you have turned your backs on Islam and governed the people according to the capitalist system. Now, you even invite the infidel (kafir) West to govern the people.

Does this please the people of Yemen, or do they have a different opinion from what the politicians and economists are doing now? They know that Allah (swt) said:

[وَلَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلاً] “and never will Allah give the disbelievers over the believers a way [to overcome them].” [An-Nisa:141] Thus, the people of faith and wisdom have no choice but to reject you as one discards a seed, and to work with Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood, so that we may be governed by Islam. Allah (swt) said:

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ]

“O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.” [Al-Anfal:24].
