The Houthis Persist in their Delusion and Arrest Members of Hizb ut Tahrir!
(Translated)

On Monday, July 8, 2024, the Houthis kidnapped Ustaadh Khalid Muhammad Al-Hami, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, while taking his wife to the hospital in Souk Al-Dhikr in Taiz Governorate. Not only did they arrest him, but they also prevented his relatives from visiting him. He was accused of working with Hizb ut Tahrir to uphold the Deen of Islam and unify Muslims by resuming the Islamic way of life through the establishment of a state that implements Islam on earth, after its absence for more than a hundred years!

The acts of injustice committed by the Houthis, including the arrests of members of Hizb ut Tahrir, serve the interests of the infidel Western colonialists in the ongoing war against the advocates for the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate). The supporters of the West continuously wage this war to prevent the return of the Islamic rule to the earth. Hizb ut Tahrir looks solely to Allah Almighty in achieving its goal of establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood. Is this a crime that warrants imprisonment for those who call for it?

[وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ * الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ]

"And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness." [Al-Buruj:8-9].

Doesn’t it astonish and strange that Islam is fought against, and the youth who call for Islam are imprisoned? And where? In the land of Iman (faith) and wisdom, the land of the Ansar! What's more astonishing and bitter is that the charge against the members of the Hizb is that they are working to establish the Islamic Khilafah! And where? In Islamic lands, whose inhabitants are Muslims, who read in the Book of Ayat Allah that speak the truth, commanding to rule by Islam:

[وَأَنِ احْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللهُ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُوكَ عَن بَعْضِ مَا أَنزَلَ اللهُ إِلَيْكَ]

“And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you.” [Al-Ma’ida:49] and they read:

[فَلاَ وَرَبِّكَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّىَ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَجِدُواْ فِي أَنفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِّمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُواْ تَسْلِيمًا]

“But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.” [An-Nisa:65]. And they read the words of Allah:

[وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللهُ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ]

“And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.” [Al-Ma'ida:45] Is it a crime to call and work for establishing the Dawlah (state) that Allah has commanded to be established, which unites Muslims on one platform, with one Rayah (banner), and one ruler, a Khalifah (Caliph) whom they pledge Baya’ah to based on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, who fights with them against the enemies of Allah, and rules them by what Allah has revealed? Is this a charge for which a Muslim is imprisoned in Muslim lands?

The Houthis deafen our ears and shout day and night about victory for Islam, yet they arrest those who work to implement Islam! They lie as easily as they breathe, raising empty slogans that have no reality in their dirty criminal actions, as they rule the people with a secular republican system and resort to the laws of the United Nations, spreading sectarian strife in every corner. They are like other rulers of regimes in Muslim lands and behind them, the kufr colonialist West. They are aware of the strength of the idea and the project that Hizb ut Tahrir carries and upholds, and its ability to convince people and influence them intellectually and politically. They also know that the Hizb and its Shabab do not resort to material and military actions. In this context comes the issue of persecution and arrest. They know that if the Hizb and its Shabab were left alone with the Ummah, the Hizb would be able to take leadership of the Ummah within a short period of time. However, their understanding of the reality and nature of the Hizb's work, which would end their oppressive rule and influence, makes them act like gangs and mafias without regard for any deterrent, as if they do not realize that our Lord (swt) is ever watchful over every oppressor.

Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Yemen will continue, with Allah's permission, to speak the truth, fearing no blame for the sake of Allah. The pursuit by the agents of the criminals, no matter how intense, will not weaken their resolve. These unjust actions carried out against its members will only increase their strength and honor in this world, and their reward and Allah's pleasure in the Akhirah, B’thn Allah. Their stance will always be expressed by the words of Allah:

[الَّذِينَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُواْ لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ إِيمَاناً وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ]

“Those to whom hypocrites said, "Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them." But it [merely] increased them in faith, and they said, "Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs."” [Aal-i-Imran:173].

We also affirm that we are confident that goodness will never cease in this Ummah in all its diversity, and that our people in Yemen are at the forefront of Muslims in hastening to do good deeds. We are full of hope that, despite the tyrannical rulers, our people in Yemen will be the pioneers in establishing the Khilafah that the Messenger of Allah (saw) promised in the authentic hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad: «تَكُونُ النُّبُوَّةُ فِيكُمْ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا اللهُ إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا. ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ، فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا. ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكاً عَاضّاً، فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا. ثُمَّ تَكُونُ مُلْكاً جَبْرِيَّةً، فَتَكُونُ مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ تَكُونَ، ثُمَّ يَرْفَعُهَا إِذَا شَاءَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَهَا. ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ»“Prophethood will last with you for as long as Allah wants it to last. Then there will be Khilafah according to the Method of Prophethood, and things will be as Allah wishes them to be. Then Allah will end it when He wishes. Then there will be biting (hereditary) rule, and things will be as Allah wishes them to be. Then, Allah will end it when He wishes. Then there will be an oppressive rule, and things will be as Allah wishes them to be. Then, Allah will end it when He wishes. Then there will be a Khilafah according to the method of Prophethood.”
