The Houthis Continue their Crimes and Transgressions... Arresting Hizb ut Tahrir Members
(Translated)

Starting from Thursday, 10 Jumada al-Akhir 1446 AH corresponding to 12 December 2024 CE, the Houthi militias carried out raids on the homes of Hizb ut Tahrir members without taking into account the provisions of Islamic law or even tribal rules and customs! They raided their homes in three directorates of Taiz Governorate (Taiziyah, Mawiah, and Khadir); and arrested: Suleiman al-Muhajri, Khaled al-Hami (who was detained by them six months ago on charges of carrying the Dawah with Hizb ut Tahrir), Engineer Taqi al-Din al-Zayla’i, Amir al-Sabry, and Muhammad al-Faqih. Three supporters of Hizb ut Tahrir were also arrested: Abdul Malik al-Jundi, Abdul Qader al-Sarari, and Adnan al-Zayla’i, who remain in the custody of criminals at the time of writing this release.

The charge of the members of Hizb ut Tahrir is to calling to resume the Islamic way of life by establishing the Khilafah, teaching Muslims the method of the Lord of the worlds, spreading awareness among them about the corruption of the capitalist system by which they are governed today, and exposing the plans and conspiracies of the Kafir West and its agent rulers who work day and night to fight the Muslims who are calling for establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood.

The Houthis deal with the people of Yemen with a gang mentality, arresting the sincere people without charges or trials. They have not learned from what happened to Bashar yesterday, and they are still continuing their crimes and oppression against those who work to establish the law of Allah, and they are hostile to Islam and the Muslims. All of this is in service to their master, America, which fears the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah and is extremely afraid of Hizb ut Tahrir and its members, to the point that merely mentioning the name of Hizb ut Tahrir terrifies them. The colonial agents from the Houthis became outraged when Hizb ut Tahrir members distributed a leaflet entitled: “America, through a Ceasefire, Achieves Two Significant Goals for the Jewish Aggression: The Withdrawal of Iranian-backed Hezbollah Forces to the North of the Litani River, and the Separation of the Two Fronts!” which stated: “On 27 November 2024, a ceasefire was announced on the Lebanese front between the Jewish entity and Hezbollah…This agreement effectively separates the Lebanese and Gaza fronts, leaving Gaza isolated under Jewish strikes without support from the Lebanese front. Meanwhile, America, Jewish, and the surrounding treacherous regimes in Palestine orchestrate an agreement that ensures victory for Jewish over Gaza under conditions they dictate. This occurs openly before rulers who neither fear Allah nor have shame.

[قَاتَلَهُمُ اللهُ أَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ]

“May Allah condemn them! How can they be deluded ˹from the truth˺?”

This leaflet terrified them and made them mobilize their forces to arrest the person who distributed it to the people. They are apparently announcing their support for Gaza, but in reality, they are closer to Gaza’s enemies! Everyone knows that Hizb ut Tahrir is the only party serious about removing the influence of the kafir West from our lands by overthrowing its agents and the corrupt capitalist system.

Hizb ut Tahrir has been working for more than seventy years, and it continues on its clear path and enlightened approach. Neither the West nor the East nor the agents and lackeys like you have been able to stop it. It is not frightened by your childish actions, nor by attempts to terrorize it or arrest its members. It declares openly and publicly that it is continuing its intellectual and political struggle and is continuing to expose the agents of colonialism who implement its system and arrest those who work to establish the Islamic Khilafah.

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Yemen, say to the Houthi authorities: Think about the situation of those who came before you, and return to your senses, and release the members of Hizb ut Tahrir who have no weapon except the honest and sincere word, and other innocent people in your prisons, and make way for the sincere and aware sons of the Ummah to rule the people according to the law of Allah. As for you, your lies and deception have been exposed, for you, Islam is nothing but slogans that you shout day and night with the slogan: “Death to America” while you implement its secular republican system! What you are doing is evil!!

We remind the members of the security services and all the spies and informants who carry out the orders of the Houthis that it is their duty to stand by the loyal sons of the Ummah and not to follow the directives of the traitorous rulers, otherwise they will lose, and they will not escape punishment because they are the hand that cause suffer to the people. We remind them that the torment and punishment of Allah is greater in the Hereafter and they will be with the traitorous rulers, so do not think that they are safe from punishment. Allah Almighty said:

[يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَا لَيْتَنَا أَطَعْنَا اللهَ وَأَطَعْنَا الرَّسُولَا * وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا * رَبَّنَا آتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْناً كَبِيراً]

“On the Day their faces are ˹constantly˺ flipped in the Fire, they will cry, “Oh! If only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!” And they will say, “Our Lord! We obeyed our leaders and elite, but they led us astray from the ˹Right˺ Way. Our Lord! Give them double ˹our˺ punishment, and condemn them tremendously.” [Al-Ahzab 66-8].

The Khilafah on the method of the Prophethood will return soon, Inshallah. It is the promise of Allah, and the good news of our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Hizb ut Tahrir has dedicated itself to working day and night to establish it.

[وَاللهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَى أَمْرِهِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ]
