O Houthis: There is no Quranic Methodology at all!
The Ministry of Agriculture’s Slogans are Beautiful and Bright but the State of Agriculture is Unfortunate and Shameful!!

On Monday 9/12/2024, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources held a workshop in Sana'a entitled "Preparing scientific foundations, rules, conditions, standards and controls for building general policies for developing livestock wealth in light of the Quranic methodology and the requirements of the Yemeni environment", in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Radwan Al-Ruba’i, according to Al-Thawra newspaper on Tuesday 10/12/2024CE.

Anyone who looks at the slogans, plans and programs raised by the Ministry of Agriculture, and the work it is doing, will be shocked. The Ministry calls for establishing scientific foundations and what relates to that in developing livestock according to the Quranic methodology, but it does not put that into practice. It does not have well-studied plans or programs awaiting implementation. The Ministry of Agriculture falls under the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) - whose directors work with it - and its proposed programs are the ones that will be implemented under the banner of the slogans raised in the workshop.

At the same time that the title of this workshop was raised, the Ministry continues to expand the cultivation of genetically modified wheat in the regions of Yemen, whose seeds come from outside Yemen through the mediation of the World Bank. This means Yemen's dependence on the wheat crop from outside from genetically modified seeds that carry diseases that were not hidden by replacing their name with "improved seeds", harmful weeds, and damage to neighboring crops and agricultural soil.

The Ministry continues the work of cooperative societies, which no longer have significant agricultural returns of economic value, which farmers have suffered from their tragedies. Recently, the Ministry brought a new program from outside Yemen from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) called contract farming, which is contrary to Shariah law in more than one way. First: It is a contract between three parties, in which the work is focused on one party, while the second party buys the crops of the first party, and the third party provides usurious loans. Second: It sells what it does not own; by selling its agricultural crops to the business sector before planting it. Third: It practices short-term usurious loans, which banks provide to farmers.

Why does the Ministry of Agriculture refrain from planting corn of all kinds - white, yellow, red and Roman - which is easy to grow and does not depend on genetically modified seeds?! And why is the Ministry of Agriculture holding a workshop, through which it will not provide anything noteworthy to livestock owners except slogans? Minister Al-Ruba’i has collected in his ministry land and sea, fresh and salty water, which made it difficult and problematic for him to develop effective plans and programs far from theories.

It is worth noting that Minister Al-Ruba’i attended a similar workshop on 30/9/2024 CE under the same title "Preparing scientific foundations, rules, conditions, standards and controls for building general policies for developing livestock in light of the Quranic methodology"?! This news and other almost daily news in all fields and at the level of all institutions are almost devoid of the word (Quranic). In fact, the Quran and the divine methodology are innocent of it, why would it not be, when the ruling system in our country is a secular system.

The Ministry of Agriculture, like all previous and current ministries, is unable to formulate a new successful agricultural policy, direct agricultural policy in Yemen and carry out its duties in people’s lives in terms of providing new markets that meet their needs, not to mention organizing and expanding existing markets in various cities and rural areas. The truth is that there is no Quranic methodology at all!
