News Right Now: But Where is Our Support?

The injustice of the Western nations reached a new level of allegiance this week as one by one, each gave their overwhelming support to the Zionist entity to take whatever measures necessary to ‘protect itself’. The global powers including Russia and India back the Zionists completely through a barrage of measures which include fueling the Zionist entity’s outright lies and deception. Accelerating the Zionist media propaganda, the Western governments are collectively disseminating lies through their own media and laws. They are amplifying the voices of settlers who have experienced fear on every single platform without exception; all the while downplaying the actual barbarism and atrocities upon the Gazans, including the deaths of hundreds of babies, and thousands more children, women and men.

The Western government media have also whitewashed the hate speech of the settlers, whereby Palestinians are continually taunted of rape and that their throats be slit. The allies have also promoted the false allegations of the Zionist army who have lied about their shootouts and killing sprees against resistance fighters resulting in unspeakable barbarism. Notwithstanding this, the fake news about the beheading of babies by resistance fighters was even perpetuated by the foolish President Joe Biden, claiming he saw actual video footage. His statement was quickly retracted by the White House as it was soon proven to have been no more than slander.

Likewise, an uncanny number of Western government parliamentary officials and even Civil Servants throughout Europe and the US, have completely ignore the ever more extreme speech of the Zionists, including those of Defence Minister Yoav Gallant who said, “We are fighting human animals and we act accordingly”, as he announced the complete siege on Gaza to be without electricity, food, water or fuel. Similarly, these fascist governments are promoting the unjust let alone impossible idea that it is legitimate for over a million of Gaza’s citizens to be ethnically cleansed from Northern Gaza through death by bombing with chemical weapons including white phosphorus, and banishment from the land within just a few hours. Aside from this display of inhumanity, Western governments are contributing everything they can to the Zionist objective of annexing the Gaza enclave.

Hours after the noble Qassam Brigade mujahideen launched the attack on the Zionist settler state, the Pentagon launched the Gerald R Ford carrier strike group with its crew of 5,000 naval soldiers to protect the Zionist state from the Eastern Mediterranean. Today a second aircraft carrier, the USS Eisenhower strike group, has been sent, also with the objective of supporting the Zionist’s F-18 fighter jets by intercepting the blessed Qassam shells. The cadaverous President Biden also pledged to send “large scale financial and military support and widespread political assistance”. The UK is also sending navy ships and spy planes to support the Zionist entity and bolster the region against instability caused supposedly by Hamas.

Aside from this, Western governments have taken ridiculous new measures curtailing the very freedom of speech and freedom to demonstrate they uniquely boast about to the rest of the world. Police in France used tear gas on demonstrators, and have since banned all demonstrations as the size and strength of support for Palestine and Palestinians grew. German police used brute force against Muslim women at a rally before stopping it, and in the Netherlands, demonstrations aren’t even being approved; most ridiculous however, is the UK where ministers are trying to ban the waving and wearing of the Palestinian flag by associating it with support for Hamas – and in the most juvenile move to date, ministers are debating how to clamp down on harmless slogans like “from the river to the sea, Palestine will soon be free”, by labeling it as antisemitic hate speech.

Despite the nefarious measures of the West, and the outright banning of demonstrations in many parts of the Muslim world; support from the Ummah of Muhammed (saw) for our most beloved Palestinians has been unstinting and unified from Indonesia to Morocco. Tens of thousands of Muslims demonstrated on Friday across the Middle East in support of the Palestinians and against the intensifying Zionist bombardment and bloody slaughter in Gaza. Muslims came out in force in Jordan despite police firing tear gas at demonstrators as they chanted “we are all Palestinian!”, “they say Hamas is terrorist, we are all Hamas we are all Qassam!”

Similarly in Baghdad, despite a government clampdown on protests, large crowds filled Tahrir Square in the center of the Iraqi capital, and in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, demonstrators took to the streets waving Yemeni and Palestinian flags. After Jummah prayers in Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital, demonstrators took to the streets, as did some 10,000 Muslims in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to show solidarity with their Palestinian brothers and sisters. They chanted “Free Palestine” and “Crush the Zionists”, as they burned two effigies draped with Israeli flags – and in a powerful show of brotherhood and solidarity, thousands of religiously - persecuted Muslims across India risked the Hindutva backlash to protest the Zionist entity and prayed the Qunood salah in cities including Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin and Kerala.

The global reality proves perfectly how distant the rulers of the Muslims are from the Muslim Ummah. Whilst they have only uttered shallow, vapid sentiments; and as the Saudi’s have done through temporarily suspending their peace initiative with the Zionist entity - no doubt out of the fear of a backlash. Muslims everywhere have displayed their allegiance to their beloved Palestinian brothers and sisters, the Bait al Maqdis and Islam. This said, it is inevitable that the tens of thousands of soldiers that make up the Muslim armies, from Pakistan to Jordan, to Turkey, to Indonesia and Bangladesh are full of men of Imaan and intellect. So, we must call upon them and motivate them to lead the charge to liberate Palestine with full trust and allegiance to Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw) and the Deen of Islam.

All Muslims must accept the duty to call for and support the Sunnah of a righteous leader who will rule with Islam. A Khalif behind whom the promised Islamic rule on the way of the prophethood will mobilize our soldiers to liberate Palestine, and elevate them to the rank they were destined to have. Allah (swt) tells us in the Quran...

[إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا فَإِذَا جَاء وَعْدُ الآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوؤُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُواْ الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُواْ مَا عَلَوْاْ تَتْبِيرًا]

“Then when the final promise came, [We sent your enemies] to sadden your faces and to enter the temple in Jerusalem, as they entered it the first time, and to destroy what they had taken over with [total] destruction”. [Surah Al Isra: Verse 7]

[وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَىٰ لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا ۚ يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا ۚ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ]

“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient”. [Surah Al Noor: Verse 55]
