Dawah around the World: World War I and the Caliphate

Welcome to today’s episode of Dawah around the World – World War One and the Caliphate.
Hizb ut Tahrir in the Subcontinent of India organised a mass campaign entitled World War One and the Caliphate to remind the people of the real truths behind the war, which were not only distorted or hidden to present the enemies as heroes but also resulted in the abolition of the Khilafah and the destruction of the pillars of the Islamic the hands of traitors.
World War 1 was in reality a conflict between empires. Where Britain fought for its preservation and Germany yearned expansion. In the name of all this, the biggest loser was the Ottoman state - as power over this region determined the winner of this war. Under the Sykes-Picot accord, the British with the French government agreed to a division of the spoils of the Middle East between the two states, drawing ‘a line in the sand’ between Acre and Kirkuk – the British to take what was south of the line, and the French what was north of it.
Saudi and Jordan, the two kingdoms, were the first amongst the backstabbers of the Ummah when they liaised with the British in their plots, who sold them the idea of keeping close ties to guarantee them immense profit and wealth, ultimately selling the State leading to its destruction in 1924.
British Prime Minister Henry Bannerman outlined Western policy in 1906: "There are people (the Muslims) who control spacious territories teeming with manifest and hidden resources. They dominate the intersections of world routes. Their lands were the cradles of human civilizations and religions. These people have one faith, one language, one history and the same aspirations. No natural barriers can isolate these people from one another ... if, per chance, this nation were to be unified into one state; it would then take the fate of the world into its hands and would separate Europe from the rest of the world. Taking these considerations seriously, a foreign body should be planted in the heart of this nation to prevent the convergence of its wings in such a way that it could exhaust its powers in never-ending wars. It could also serve as a springboard for the West to gain its coveted objects."
Britain and France divided the Muslim world through the construction of artificial borders to ensure the Muslims will forever remain divided. They left individuals and minorities in power who would forever be reliant upon Western backing. Today’s situation in the Muslim world of division, poverty and oppression is a direct result of the absence of the Khilafah and the targeted policies of the West from the time of World War One.
Since this time, the Muslims have witnessed nothing but pain, suffering and humiliation. With no leader and no guardian to protect the honour and dignity of this Ummah, it leaves us all vulnerable and open to harm. Until there is Islam with a sovereign state, which rules by what Allah has revealed and forbids what Allah has forbidden and makes lawful what Allah has permitted, this unfortunate reality cannot change!

Despite the conquest of the Islamic world by the colonizing West and striking the Khilafah for decades by slandering the ideas of Islam, Allah has granted the Islamic Ummah with roaring voices demanding the Islamic Khilafah, and Muslim countries are witnessing the works by Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir from Indonesia to Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Central Asia who promise to expose the plots of the enemies until the sweetness of victory arrives. Bitnillah TaAalah. Allah SWT tells us in surah an Nur verse 55:
BismillahHirRahmanNirRaheem
وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الأرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لايُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ
“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient.”
May Allah SWT hasten the return of the Khilafah soon.
