Living in Darkness is an Inevitable Consequence of not fully Implementing Allah’s Law
(Translated)
Allah (swt) says:
“And is one who was dead and We gave him life and made for him light by which to walk among the people like one who is in darkness, never to emerge therefrom? Thus it has been made pleasing to the disbelievers that which they were doing” [Al-An’am: 122]
In this verse Allah (swt) drew an excellent example for the believer that explains to him that man will have no life in the absence of the guidance and law from His Lord. If man referred to other than Allah and followed the path of his life according to that which Allah did not reveal, then he is dead. The believer was lost and confused, not knowing the way for salvation, so Allah brought his heart to life with belief, and guided him to the path of salvation and made him successful in following the guidance.
In the tafseer of Al-Baghawi, “Ma’alim At-Tanzeel” :(فَأَحْيَيْنا (we gave him life): i.e. he was misguided so we guided him, he was dead due to Kufr so We gave him life by belief, it was said: the light is Islam, for Allah’s saying:
(يُخْرِجُهُمْ مِنَ الظُّلُماتِ إِلَى النُّورِ)“He brings them out from darknesses into the light” [Al-Baqara: 257]).
There is no doubt that those following the light of Allah and guidance and do not depart from it are not equal to those in the darkness of Ignorance and far away from Allah’s law:
(قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الأَعْمَى وَالْبَصِيرُ أَمْ هَلْ تَسْتَوِي الظُّلُمَاتُ وَالنُّورُ) “Say, "Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Or is darkness equivalent to light?” [Ar-Ra’d: 16].
Qatada says in the tafseer: “the blind and the person with sight are like the kafir and the believer, and the darkness and light are like guidance and misguidance”.
Man’s life cannot proceed in the correct and straight path except with the light and guidance of Allah; (فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ مِنِّي هُدًى فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَى) “And if there should come to you guidance from Me - then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter]” [Ta-Ha: 123].
That is man as Ibn ‘Ashoor (may Allah’s mercy be on him) said in his tafseer of this verse: The one who follows guidance sent by Allah by the tongues of his Prophets is saved from any misguidance, but if this light is absent then his life turns to darkness and life of misery; (وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْ ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنْكاً) “And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life” [Ta-Ha: 124].
There is no tranquility, no security, no rest, no comfort to the human breast as long as he is far from the guidance of his Creator. What humanity is living today of the narrowness of the breasts, fear, unease and loss, but the inevitable consequences of its distance from the rules of its Creator - and how can they live without misery when they have abandoned the law of the Lord of the earth and heaven?! – Whatever blessings are seen on the people (clothing, food, pleasures ...) they are unhappy and their breasts are constricted, and they live in anxiety, sleeplessness and pain because they did not find the path of certainty and guidance. That is miserable living!
People are living in many problems today and are facing many difficulties that they did not find solutions for. They passed through many doors looking for a way out of what they are in, but to no avail! They went to the ballot boxes to elect this and reject that, hoping to change their reality, so they harvested nothing but misery, poverty and darkness that increases by the day!
The suffering of the Ummah and of humankind in general is an inevitable result of the absence of Islam from life and the misunderstanding of its rules and concepts as a result of the advent of Western civilization and its imposition of its concepts and promotion - falsely and deceitfully - the idea of the failure of Islam to keep pace with the times and the inability of its rules to solve problems, and to the promotion of the capitalist system as the only capable system of running the world and its leadership.
The West is well aware of the reality of Islam being a system that can govern all human beings irrespective of their beliefs, religions, races, nationality and colours, and can melt them into the melting pot. This means that the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) will be accompanied by the emergence of the Islamic ideology as a system of life and civilization and will pose as a competitor to its civilization. It realized that the Western civilization went bankrupt and will nearly collapse. By the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate), it will mean the demise of its control and the decline of its influence. This is why it is at war against Islam and its eternal struggle with it to break the Ummah's will in the radical change, that its signs are manifested by the Ummah’s revolutions, which called for liberation from its colonization. And it waged its war on people, displacing and attacking the land and honour, fearing that these people’s revolt on their rulers, their loyal agents, and escape from its grip and it loses its rule there. The West also planned to divide the Muslim countries again to consolidate what it did in the Sykes-Picot Agreement from division and fragmentation of the one Ummah, which it turned it into people in feuds and conflicts, seeking from behind all this to eliminate the idea of a single Islamic Ummah governed by one state, thus hitting the idea of establishing the righteous Khilafah (Caliphate) and eliminate it.
Allah created man in the best creation and honoured him with the mind and He preferred him to worship Him alone, not to associate with Him anything.
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me” [Adh –Dhariyat: 56]
It is Allah’s right over His slaves to worship him and do not associate anything with Him, as our Messenger (saw) explained to Mu’adh Ibn Jabal. The worship requires "full obedience to Allah, to follow his commands and prohibition, in belief, in word, and in deed, and that man's life be based on Allah’s law. He follows the Halal and Haram of Allah and subject His behavior, actions and deeds to the law of Allah, leaving his desires and wants, so that the individuals and group, men and women are equal." (Ibn Taymia).
The splendor of the legislation and its beauty are reflected in the implementation of Islam in full without deletion or decrease; it is like a chain that its rings are perfected. If it is broken, it is dispersed and lost. The rules of Islam are mutually connected and reinforced to complement the whole structure and make it prosper, whoever follows it has gained Allah’s pleasure and those who abandon it will be lost in the darkness of disbelief and association (Shirk).
“By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path” [Al-Ma’ida: 16]
Islam is an integrated, harmonious system, brought down by the Wise, the All Knowing, to solve the problems of people at all times.
Allah has enjoined on the Muslim to take Islam in its entirety without exception, Allah (swt) says:
(وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ)
“And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty” [Al-Hashr: 7].
The non-application of Islam as a whole causes misery to the human being, and if he disrupts a ruling from the Shariah rulings, humankind will lose great goodness sent by Allah for they prosperity.
“O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers” [Yunus: 57].
Muslims have to return to arbitration by the law of their Lord and take it as a whole without abandoning any of the rules. So they must reject the idea of graduation in the application of Shariah law because it contributed to the non-application of it, and through this malicious idea Muslims were reassured that the rule is in safe hands and did not change their reality and were satisfied with it. After a while they discovered the contrary, this "moderate Islam" is the work of the West and goes in its orbit and applies its schemes. They must refuse flavouring this Kufr capitalist regime with some legal laws so as not to contribute to prolonging the life of this corrupt regime.
The testimony that there is no god but Allah alone, and He has no partners, and that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger means that worship is for Allah alone. He is the Lord of people who created them and He who commands and prohibits them, brings them to life and take away their lives, accounts and rewards, none is worshiped besides him, Allah (swt) says: (أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ) “His is the creation and the command” [Al-A’raf: 54]
Whoever governs by that which Allah did not reveal and abandons His laws, Allah’s wrath and punishment will befall on him
... “And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient” [Al-Ma’ida: 49]
To Allah (swt) is the creation and matter, He is the most Wise.
The situation of Muslims and all humankind will not remove them from the scourge and domination of the enemies, only if they return to their Lord and commit to His Book and the Sunnah of His Messenger (saw) and they follow His straight path that He chose for them and ordered them by.
“They who believe and do not mix their belief with injustice - those will have security, and they are [rightly] guided” [Al-An’am: 82]
It is obligatory on all Muslims to call for the arbitration of the law of Allah and to work to establish the rule of Allah in the land.
Islam is the best and the most complete set of laws. Allah (swt) made it the seal of the messages and made it suitable for all people and at all times and places and preserved it from being change; it fits all situations and explains everything. Allah (swt) says:
“This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.” [Al-Ma’ida: 3]
Shaikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiah said in “Al-Fatawa”: No one can judge between one of the creation of Allah, nor among Muslims, nor the kuffar, nor boys, nor the hunters (by throwing mud balls), nor the army, nor the poor, nor anyone else except by the law of Allah and His Messenger, and whoever wants to do otherwise is described in the verse;
“Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith]” [Al-Ma’ida: 50].
