“…Then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter]” [Ta-Ha: 123]
Sheikh Saeed Ridwan – Wilayah Jordan
(Translated)
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds; the One who breaks the domineering people, Who humiliates the arrogant tyrants, and gives glory to the believers as long as they adhere to His law and the guidance of His Prophet (saw), and so:
A hundred years ago, the kaffir colonialists achieved the greatest victory over the Muslims when they demolished the Khilafah (Caliphate), which was not possible had it not been for the betrayal of a rogue group of Arab and Turk traitors.
With the destruction of the Khilafah, Muslim countries were colonized, and over the course of a hundred years the Muslim people were subjected to fierce wars, genocide and ethnic cleansing wars, the destruction of cities and villages, the displacement of their people, the plunder of their wealth, brutal wars without values or morals.
- They were also subjected to the fiercest intellectual wars to separate it from its Deen and to prevent its revival and the return of their Khilafah.
- By its destruction, Allah’s Law was disrupted, the land was torn apart into frail entities, and a poisoned dagger at the heart of the Ummah prevented its unity and revival. Their countries became a spearhead and a dirty tool of the kaffir colonialists in their war on Islam and its people.
- In the absence of the Khilafah, the Ummah lost the Imam, the Junnah (shield), with whom it is protected and behind which it fights, this encouraged the attacks of nations and the lowest of people against it, and so the Muslims drank the cup of humiliation and dishonour, and were violated in everything.
- Had it not been for the mercy of Allah (swt), and a strong deep belief in the Muslims, the Islamic Ummah would have been destroyed and became history.
The Ummah has defied its enemies with its belief; the secret of its life and the source of its vitality, and it will soon return to being the best nation that was brought to humankind, as long as it adheres to its belief and restores its Khilafah, and that will be soon, Allah willing.
O Muslims: The return of the Khilafah is a creedal issue by which Islam is victorious and the Deen of Allah prevails over all other religions. With the Khilafah, Allah Alone will unite the people, His Law (swt) governs, and Islam will be carried as a message of guidance and mercy to the worlds. With the Khilafah, the blood, honour and wealth are preserved, the sanctities are purified from the filth of the kuffar, and people will live, Muslims and non-Muslims, under it a safe and secure life.
O Muslims: The wise Shariah has stipulated a rule that does not fail, namely: If people believe in Allah and rule by His Law then they will enjoy security, and goodness and blessed livelihood will overflow on them. But if they depart from the Law of Allah (swt) and rule by their desires, Allah (swt) will inflict them with torment and will make them taste shame and miserable living, and will send mighty tyrants to control and make them taste woes and lead them to destruction, and what awaits them with Allah is more shameful and regretful.
Allah (swt) the Most Truthful says:
“And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning." [Al-A’raf: 96].
Allah (swt) says:
“And if there should come to you guidance from Me - then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray [in the world] nor suffer [in the Hereafter] * And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.” [Ta-Ha: 123-124].
Allah (swt) says:
“And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver * He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers * And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers” [Nuh: 10-12].
Allah (swt) says:
“And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet.” [Al-Ma’ida: 66].
Our beloved (saw) said:
“If you sell anything on credit to anyone, on the condition that you will buy it back for a lower price (al-'Einah), take hold of the tails of cattle, become pleased with agriculture and give up Jihad - Allah will make disgrace prevail over you and will not remove it from you till you return to your religion.”
O Muslims: The return of the Khilafah that makes people worship Allah, the Creator of the universe, man, and life is a creedal issue at the core of the Islamic belief, for it alone embodies the rule (Al-Hakimiyah) of Allah Alone, removes the rule of humankind, and gives the rules of Shariah the status of adherence, so they become binding laws, which make sovereignty to Allah (swt) Alone, Allah (swt) says:
“But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission” [An-Nisa’: 65]. Allah (swt) says:
“And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers” [Al-Ma’ida: 44].
In light of this, the legal truth is established that the establishment of the Khilafah by pledging allegiance to a caliph of the Muslims, who rules by the law of Allah (swt) and raises the banner of jihad is one of the greatest obligations, but rather the crown of obligations.
- To give more evidences and explanation, we review some of the Shariah evidence very briefly:
Allah (swt) says:
“O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.” [An-Nisa’: 59].
The Legislator does not require obedience to someone who does not exist, so Muslims must find the caliph, who must be obeyed.
Allah (swt) says:
“Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate” [An-Nisa’: 105].
And ruling by the Shariah dictates the necessity of the existence of the caliph.
The Prophet (saw) said:
“Whoever withdraw from an obligation, he will meet Allah without having an excuse, and whoever dies without a pledge on his neck, dies the death of Jahiliyah.”
This necessitates the presence of the bay’ah (pledge of allegiance) on the neck of every Muslim, otherwise their death would be like the death of the days of Jahiliyah and therefore there must be a caliph, whose presence necessitates the obligatory pledge of allegiance on the necks.
The Prophet (saw) said:
“Banu Israel were ruled by Prophets, whenever a Prophet dies another succeeds him, but there will be no Prophet after me, there will be Khulafaa and they will number many, they said: so what do you order us? He (saw) said: Give bay'ah to them, one after the other, fulfil their (i.e. the Caliphs) rights, for Allah will ask them about (any shortcoming) in ruling those Allah has put under their guardianship.”
And this is an explanation from the Messenger of Allah (saw) that after him there will only be caliphs who must be given a bay’ah (pledge of allegiance) and it must be fulfilled.
The Prophet (saw) said:
“When three are on a journey, they should appoint one of them as their commander.”
To make a caliph the commander for the Muslims who takes care of them all, and rule over them by the law of Allah (swt) is a most important and greater duty than appointing a commander in a journey.
The Prophet (saw) said:
“If Bay’ah (pledge of allegiance) was given to two caliphs, then kill the later of them (who was given the pledge).”
This indicates:
First: The wujuub (obligation) of the Ummah’s unity, for the sake of which the Legislator permitted the killing of the caliph, whose blood is protected, in order to preserve its unity.
Second: The caliph is the only one who is given bay’ah to rule by the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (saw).
Third: The order of the Legislator to kill the caliph who is given the bay’ah and consequently to kill whoever supports him among those who pledge allegiance to him, demonstrates the obligation of the existence of the caliph, and the unity of the Khilafah.
- As for the evidence from ijma’ (consensus of the companions), it is the command of Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, to give the six people of the Shura three nights to give bay’ah to a caliph, and to kill the objectors after three (nights), and this was heard by the companions, and their acknowledgment of the prohibition of staying over three nights without a caliph.
- Moreover, the legal principle: “Whatever leads to a wajib (obligation) is itself a wajib” makes it an obligatory duty to find a caliph, whom the Shariah rule cannot be implemented without.
- We conclude by the saying to the caliph of the Muslims Al-Faruq, may Allah be pleased with him: “There is no Islam except with jama’ah (group), and no jama’ah except with imarah (leadership), and no imarah except with ta’ah (obedience). Whoever is given leadership by his people based on jurisprudence, it is life for him and for them, and whoever is given leadership by his people on a non-jurisprudence basis, it will be a destruction for himself and them.”
O Muslims: The colonial kaffir and its agents have implanted in the minds of Muslims that Muslims are weak and that their material strengths are incapable of establishing the Khilafah and confronting its enemies, and that their torn countries with rampant corruption of the rulers and on people makes them ineligible to establish a Khilafah. This is deception against Muslims, to spread weakness and despair in them and to deter them from this great obligation. This deception made them forget the words of Allah (swt):
“How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient.” [Al-Baqara: 249].
And the saying of Allah (swt):
“…and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers” [Ar-Rum: 47].
And His (swt) saying:
“Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand” [Ghafir: 51].
It made them forget Allah’s promise of Istiklaf (succession [to authority]), as He, who is glorified and decides, says:
“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me." [An-Nur: 55].
It made them forget the glad tidings of their Prophet (saw), that there will be a Khilafah Rashidah after the oppressive rule, the rule of oppression and tyranny, of killing and torture, the rule of iron and fire. He (saw) said:
“Then there will be an oppressive monarchy as long as Allah wills, then he will eliminate it if he so wills. Then a Khilafah )Caliphate) on the way of Prophethood will prevail and he kept silent.”
Indeed, material preparation is required and in the most of our ability, but let everyone know that the reason for victory is exclusively from Allah. Allah (swt) says:
“And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise” [Aal-i-Imran: 126].
And that material power will not achieve victory if the Lord and Creator of matter abandons us. Achieving Allah’s pleasure is first and foremost, then follows the preparation according to our ability. And you, O Muslims, are worthy of that, as long as you hold fast to the rope of Allah and His pleasure. You are the most honourable of the nations, you are the Ummat al-wasat (just nation), the best nation brought to humankind. So, trust in Allah (swt) and support your Deen and establish it as a Khilafah on the method of the Prophethood, Allah will support you and make your feet steadfast, and Allah (swt) is with you and will preserve the rewards of your actions.
And the last of our prayer is that praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the Master of the Messengers, our Master Muhammad, his family and companions, and upon those who followed His path and are guided by His guidance until the Day of Judgment.
