They Destroyed their Dwellings by their Own Hands

On Sunday June 5, it was the Danish National Constitution Day, where they celebrate the first constitution of 1849 with political speeches about freedoms and democracy. This year however, the constitution had just been severely challenged by the same politicians who climbed the rostrum to hail it.

Comment:

A few days earlier, a majority of Danish parliament adopted a new set of laws as part of the “Imam-laws”, directed to stop radicalization and the conveyor of political Islam. The latest law is the most controversial and far reaching in a secular liberal society, since it bans certain religious statements and hence they have just further limited their beloved “freedom of speech”. The formulation of one of the points is as follows:

“…the mere reading out or reproduction of a religious scripture, wherein there is being expressed an encouragement or support to punishable acts, will NOT be covered by criminalization, UNLESS the reader agrees (condones) the read in some form or another.”

In practice this means that if a Muslim reads out in public e.g. Surah Nisaa ayah 3, where Allah (swt) says that a man can marry up to four wives, and does not reject this, then he or she is going to be prosecuted, since polygamy is illegal in Denmark.

A group of public debaters has made a common statement renouncing the new laws and some liberal thinkers have reacted with great outrage, where one even called Denmark a rouge state, but nothing will have even the smallest effect. People of the West live in an illusion, that they have a political influence every fourth year, but reality shows different.

At the same time, the Minister of Integration has ordered a survey of the “democratic deficit” among Muslims, but does it surprise anyone that it exists on a large scale, while political mistrust and dissatisfaction has never been higher among normal Danes?

It is expected that many Muslims that speak in public, including members of Hizb ut Tahrir, will face charges in the near future, but you will find no Muslim rejecting even a single ayah from Quran al Karim, because Muslims do not compromise their Deen. In the western secular liberal societies however nothing is sacred and everything made by man can be changed by man.

Muslims have a completely different view on life and ruling, and it is not a right but an Islamic duty to account the ruler to keep this within the scope of Islam. In liberal Democracies, rights of the people are however reduced to watch it all collapse from the sideline.
