Towards Damascus, Until the Fall of the Criminal Regime!

Comment:

The renewed fighting by the revolutionaries against the tyrant Bashar al-Assad in Syria is a source of hope for the Islamic Ummah, at a time that Muslims are restless for change, from Indonesia to Morocco. The excitement and expectation within the Muslims is valid. Large numbers of Muslims have joined the revolutionaries, including many sincere fighting factions. Indeed, the call from Daraa, the cradle of the revolution, is to advance to the capital, Damascus, is a sweet sound for the believers.

America does appear to be struggling in containing the rapid and large expansion, and control the many regions, through its agents and their affiliated groups. In this critical stage, the Duas of the believers are with the revolutionaries. May Allah (swt) allow the revolutionaries to reach the capital, Damascus, and overthrow the criminal regime there. May Allah (swt) allow the swift end of the rule of agency to America, before America and its agents are able to contain the situation, and steer the matter towards negotiations and normalization with the regime.

The Muslims are valid in their great respect for the Muslims of ash-Sham. The Muslims of ash-Sham rose up against Bashar demanding the restoration of the ruling by all that Allah (swt) has revealed. The Syrian uprising is unlike other revolutions in the Arab Spring. It is rooted in a change in system, and not faces. The Muslims of Ash-Sham persisted despite brutal, horrific attacks from all sides, depending on Allah (swt). Due to the constancy and patience of the Muslims, the army of Bashar fragmented. The rebelling officers fused into the large number of armed factions to fight Bashar al-Assad. The revolution then took many regions of ash-Sham, and besieged Bashar in Damascus and pockets elsewhere, from all sides.

As much as the Muslims of Ash-Sham are loved by the people of Iman, they are hated by the people of kufr. Thus, from the beginning of the uprising in ash-Sham, America mobilized the militias of Iran, the factions of Turkey, the Kurdish nationalists and Russia, to divert the revolution. America then used the intelligence style of weapons and funding to prevent the collapse of Bashar. It mobilized its agents to persuade factions that there is a need for a united front first, and it is not the time to bring down Bashar now. So, factions were diverted from Damascus, and took up controlling and administrating the areas that they liberated. This is whilst there were continuous airstrikes, in order to discourage any potential advance to the capital.

Then, more recently, America started to use the issue of opening crossings, amongst other issues, in order to draw the factions into normalizing relations with the regime. As for the recent days, when fighting of the regime by the factions has erupted at a huge scale, America is desperately trying to deter the factions from focusing on Damascus, using its agents. In addition, Putin is using air strikes to deter advances to the capital, in the hope that Trump will strike a deal for him to emerge from the quagmire of Ukraine.

Thus, the call from the Ummah to its sincere sons in ash-Sham must be “Towards Damascus, until the fall of the criminal regime.” The Muslims, the Arab and the Ajm, must be one in their Dua for the successful conclusion of the revolution in ash-Sham, which is the Liwa flag of the Khilafah raised again over its former capital, Damascus. All Muslims must raise their voices to encourage the revolutionaries to take over the capital, depending on Allah (swt). Allah (swt) said,

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ]

“O believers! If you stand up for Allah, He will help you and make your steps firm.” [TMQ Surah Muhammad 47:7].
