The Speech of Scholar Sheikh Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, to his Facebook Page Visitors on the Occasion of the Blessed Eid Al-Adha for the Year 1435 AH Corresponding to 2014 CE (Translated)

Allahu Akbar... Allahu Akbar... Allahu Akbar...

There is no God but Allah...

Allahu Akbar... Allahu Akbar, Praise be to Allah

To the noble Muslim Ummah, to the Pilgrims to the House of Allah, to the noble Dawah carriers, to the respected page visitors

As Salaam Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu

May Allah accept your good deeds and make this Eid full of good and blessings...

May Allah accept from the pilgrims their Hajj, and May Allah (Most Merciful and most Beneficient) make it a Hajj Mabroor, a gracious Sa'i, and forgiven sins.

Dear brothers and sisters:

If it wasn't because Allah (swt) made Eid a source of happiness that fills the hearts of the Muslims with delight and joy, and time of good family ties, and for congratulations and good greeting to spread amongst the Ummah, and if it wasn't for the promise of Allah (swt) to this Ummah:

((وعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ))

"Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them" [an-Nur:55]

And if it wasn't for the glad tiding of the Prophet (saw) of the return of the guided Khilafah "Caliphate" as He (saw) said: «ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةٌ عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ» "Then there will be Khilafah "Caliphate" upon the method of the Prophethood"

And if it wasn't for a party which is sincere to Allah (swt) and true to the Prophet (saw), working day and night praying and beseeching Allah to open by their hands, and establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" and bring back the glory of Islam and the Muslims.

If it wasn't for all the above we would not have seen the smile appear on our faces, because there is a wound in the heart, and an obstruction in the throat, and that is because of the large number of tragedies that surrounds Muslims from front and from behind, from the left and right; the Khilafah "Caliphate" has been absent for nearly a century, Muslims are torn apart and fragmented, ruled by the ignorant oppressors who are not ashamed of their actions in front of Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, not to mention the aggression by the colonialist Kuffar and their allies against the lands and the people, as if Muslim countries is the battlefield to spill our blood and violate our sanctities...

If you start from where the sun rises, passing by Timor from Indonesia, in your way you will see Burma, and what news we have of Burma, the Muslims' situation there is heart breaking, because of the crimes of the Buddhists and their atrocities, which monsters of the jungle dissociate from them... and then you will pass by the tragedies of Bangladesh, and after that you reach Kashmir and the crimes of India there... and to Pakistan and its tragedies and the aggression of American aircrafts on Waziristan... and then to Afghanistan and its occupation by America and NATO, where there is almost no day devoid of brutal massacres... If you move upwards to the north you will see Chechnya and the Caucasus and Crimea which is attacked by the hands of Russia which is entrenched in crime and bloodshed... If I walk from there to the east of East Turkestan, you will see China which is full of many forms of aggression... to the Mediterranean and you will find Cyprus which is controlled by the Greek Cypriots after being stripped of Turkey the mother land.

But if you walk south and reach the seashore, you will find the heart of the Muslim countries, the blessed land, Palestine, the first Qiblah, and you'll see the usurpers Jews committing the crimes and massacres there, and you will hear the whining of agony of its Masjid, which is suffering from a deep wound which keeps it barely standing ... then Ash-Sham and all that we know of what is in Ash-Sham, the flowing blood, which is not only because of the tyrant of Ash-Sham, but by the fighting of Muslims among themselves as well, the fire of this murder and bloodshed ignites the aggression of the colonialists kuffar and their rogue agents, with their plane missiles, and rocket launchers from the seas and the ocean, and from the bases stationed on land of the Gulf... then Iraq the sister of Ash-Sham in the tragedies and calamities.

If you walked south to Yemen, which was the happy Yemen you will see that it has become sad and is hit by tragedies of fighting, fueled by the colonialists Kuffar states that turned it into a field of their competition over our skulls and our blood.

If you walk to where the sun sets, you will find Muslims fighting amongst themselves in Libya... and you will find Egypt and the army of Egypt, which has cleared the ground of the Crusaders and the Tatars, you will find that the rulers have busied it with internal matters, , and they do not lift a finger towards the Jewish usurpers of Palestine who are a stone's throw away from it...then If you head towards Central Africa you will see that the Muslims have suffered for long the harm and damage and shedding of the pure blood and rape, which is unspeakable... then its neighbor Sudan, with its south separated from the north, leaving the wound to bleed... then Somalia is reeling from the terrible pain and gruesome fighting of the many years.

... All this in the Muslim land because of the aggression of the colonialists Kuffar and their stooges the oppressive rulers.

The tragedies of Muslims in the lands of the Kuffar are endless, those nations want Muslims to abandon their Islam, they even attack the dress of Muslim women, they want to silence the Azan, and they want to spread hatred against them in their communities and their lives, even in the streets.

The tragedies were since the absence of the Khilafah "Caliphate", they followed in succession, they are accumulated misfortunes that confuses the patient one...

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

I repeat what I started with, from "if it wasn't for...and beyond and realize to reflect on the verses of Allah (swt):

((فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا * إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا))

"For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease * Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease" [Ash-Sharh: 5-6]

"[They continued] until, when the messengers despaired and were certain that they had been denied, there came to them Our victory, and whoever We willed was saved. And Our punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals" [Yusuf: 110]

Reflecting on the arrival of people of Medina, the Ansar of Allah and His Messenger, they came to the Messenger of Allah (saw) in difficult conditions, starting from that year, the year of grief when Khadija (ra), the mother of believers passed away, and then was the death of Abu Talib, who was providing protection to the Messenger of Allah (saw), and then followed the violent response from the people of Taif, which left the Messenger of Allah (saw) bleeding... in these painful years to the Messenger of Allah (saw) was the advent of the Ansar, and the first and second pledge of allegiance, then the migration of the Prophet (saw) and the establishment of the state

Reflecting on this shows that there is hope after the pain, and glad tidings of joy after the reality of grief, and ease after hardship, and comfort after suffering for far too long, and Allah's mercy and prayers after ina llah wa ina ilayhi raji'oon ... then follows good and victory... good and victory... good and victory

"And that day the believers will rejoice * In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful." [Ar-Rum: 4-5]

In the end, I extend my greetings to you, and I pray the best for you, May Allah accept all your good deeds, and bestow upon you His Bounties and Blessings.

Wassalamu Alaikum wa Rahmat Allahu wa Barakatu

The night of the blessed Eid Al-Adha for the year 1435 after Hijra.

Your brother,
Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah
