Hizb ut Tahrir/Malaysia organized an activity to reject the wine festival (Octoberfest) after Friday prayers at the Putra Nilai Mosque in the city of Seruan. The source of the festival is Germany and brought the "Carlsberg," one of the largest liquor companies in Malaysia into Malaysia.  The festival was used to remind the Muslims of the sins that this company brings forth.
