News Right Now: A Part of the Team

In 2011, Syria was kicked out of the Arab League after the government began the civil war against its own people who were calling and protesting for regime and fundamental change. The twenty two member Arab League revoked the Syrian membership, firmly standing against the doings of Assad and his regime. Twelve years later, a majority vote from the League suggested that it’s fair now to allow Syria to return back and have its membership reimbursed.

Torture, execution, Detainment, Disappearances, Chemical weapons, Barrel Bombs, Massacres – was the strategy of Bashar Al Assad in destroying the voices and echoes of the Muslims who dared stand against the “Mighty Assad.” He shocked the world with his pride, ego and fearless attitude showing there were no limits he wouldn’t cross. A half a million people – KILLED! Half the country's population – Displaced and Homeless! Refugees, running from country to country to see who will grant them abode!

Yet, he stands up, tall and confident as though he has done no harm and openly declares he’s done no wrong; for twelve LONG years, our Ummah has struggled and suffered in unimaginable and inhumane ways. Our elderly, women, children and sick have no roof, no food, no warmth, no medicine, no water, and no gas! They have no one to care, no one to turn to, no one to call their protector!

So when the Arab League nations say they are ready to welcome back Al Assad and his Syria, do they not see the impact that his strategy and actions has had on the people of Syria?! Do they forget the conceited individual and his arrogance he has upheld for the past twelve years?! Have they overlooked the numerous international laws he broke and the war crimes committed?! The truth in fact is, the Arab states began normalizing ties with Syria and Assad many many years ago. Whilst the Syrian war dragged on and it became more and more apparent that Assad is going nowhere, our so called Muslim rulers viewed pursuing relations with him as inevitable. The United Arab Emirates re-established diplomatic ties, as early as 2018, with Bahrain, Jordan, Algeria, Saudi, Egypt etc. following suit in the years shortly later. World leaders and representatives were meeting with Assad, shaking his hand and hugging him. Embassies were reopening, diplomatic missions were resuming, the “once closed borders” were no longer closed and trading routes we once again functioning and flights to Syria were operating for them, it was never about the violence, the torture or the cruelty he was inflicting on the Muslims in Syria; quite frankly, the only thing they care and worry about is to safeguard their geopolitical interests, to plunder resources, take power and permanently halt any Islamic revival! They have no care and no interest in supporting or helping the Syrian people! The members of the Arab League prove they are of the same breed of Al Assad. They are all tyrannical, oppressive and represent the complete opposite of the needs and wants of their people!

Allah (swt) says in Surah Baqarah verse 159-160

[اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ يَكۡتُمُوۡنَ مَآ اَنۡزَلۡنَا مِنَ الۡبَيِّنٰتِ وَالۡهُدٰى مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَا بَيَّنّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِى الۡكِتٰبِۙ اُولٰٓـئِكَ يَلۡعَنُهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَ يَلۡعَنُهُمُ اللّٰعِنُوۡنَۙ* اِلَّا الَّذِيۡنَ تَابُوۡا وَاَصۡلَحُوۡا وَبَيَّـنُوۡا فَاُولٰٓـئِكَ اَ تُوۡبُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ وَاَنَا التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيۡمُ‏]

“Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allah and cursed by the cursers. Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful”

The fall of the enemies of Islam is inevitable! All these so called Muslim leaders and with their good for nothing regimes, who have been granted the honour and positions to do so much Khair and Good for the Ummah they lead over, have chosen a path where they will truly crumble and be humiliated for choosing the path other than that of Allah (swt). Only with the return of the Khilafah, upon the true method of Prophethood, will we see the fall of each and every one of them, one after the other, like the fall of the dominoes toppling one over the other.

We pray we witness this time very soon and the victory of the Ummah truly brings honour, dignity and happiness to the Muslims across the world. Ameen!
