News Right Now: A Blazing Stance

“I will no longer be complicit in genocide.” Claimed 25-Year-old member of the US Air Force, Aron Bushnell, before he set himself on fire as a form of protest to the crimes being committed in Gaza. He was front of the ‘Israeli’ embassy, where he poured gasoline on himself and set himself ablaze on a livestream, “I am about to engage in an extreme act of protest,” Bushnell said before his self-immolation, “but compared to what people have been experiencing in Palestine at the hands of their colonizers is not extreme at all.”

Bushnell’s frustration with the growing frustration the civilians of the west keeps growing as the genocide in Gaza continuest. Mass protests and calls for a ceasefire echo through the streets of the US, but no changes have been made. Biden has his hands dripping with the blood of our brothers and sisters. Hand in Hand with the Jewish entity. “I’m a Zionist” is a common thing Biden refers to himself.

Protests and calls for a ceasefire in the west are falling on deaf ears. No change in sight. Even when media outlets report on protests, the words they choose to use to describe the genocide comes nowhere near explaining the reality of the situation. For instance, the tittles of the articles that discuss Bushnell’s death are “U.S. Airman’s Winding Path Ended in Self-Immolation to Protest Israel” (NYTimes), “Aaron Bushnell, Who Self-Immolated for Palestine, Had Grown Deeply Disillusioned With the Military” (Itercept), or “Airman who set self on fire grew up on religious compound, had anarchist past”... nowhere in the titles does it indicate that his form of protest was because of the ongoing genocide, which is made clear was the reason in his livestream. It is simply dismissed, as they are dismissing the murder of over 30,500 lives.

Some have even dismissed his act of protests, claiming it was a mental health issue. Their efforts to keep everyone in the dark by ensconcing what is actually ensuing. The reaction to the US and ‘Israel’s genocide on Gaza is being placed in the dark. Much information is being hidden in order for “Israel's” propaganda to take shape. Even the act of self-immolation as a form of protest did not only happen once, but twice. The first time it happened was by a woman, who the media didn’t name, in Atlanta. She set herself ablaze in front of the ‘Israeli’ consulate a few feet away from the Palestinian flag. Yet, the media did not cover her story. They set it aside and gave it no light.

It seems they were unable to control the media when it came to Bushnell, due to his work with the US air force and that it happened on a livestream. But as much as they tried to hide and push their propaganda, they have been left exposed. The whole world witnesses the crimes they have committed and the injustice they have done. Everyone sees the corruption and evil they have marked the world with. No one is falling for their façade.

The world knows that democracy was just a word used to fool everyone and that it was never a system that existed. No one had a say in their affairs, only the elites at the top were who called the shots. They only would do what was best for their interests, even if that would be to commit genocide.

[وَوَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَ]

Now what? It’s time for an alternative. One that is not according or dictated by the whims and desires of man. Instead, one that is designed by who created man and the world around him. It’s time for the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the method of prophethood. Only then will the honor and life be protected and valued.
