News Right Now: Starving to Death

Five months into the horrific images we witness with the latest onslaught going on in Gaza! Five months of non-stop bombing, killing, mutilating, bodies rotting. Five months of hopelessness, tiredness, desperateness! Five months of absolutely nothing to eat! Of rummaging through garbage and filth! Five months having led to the death of absolutely starving and famished children! SubhanAllah... Newborns aren’t able to get their few drops of milk to survive with starving mothers unable to produce enough milk to breastfeed their babies. Toddlers and infants resorted to having to eat grass mixtures having killed them! Many have gone without eating for WEEKS!

Trucks after trucks rowed up just meters away full of food, drinks, and basic necessities just sitting there! Either forbidden to enter or only a few permitted in with severe restrictions or so dangerous to receive due to the evils of the IOF. Airdrops have been a disaster having injured so many with even some deaths, as well as being nowhere near enough for the amount needed. We saw heart-breaking scenes of vulnerable men and children running in large crowds competing desperately for scatters. The humiliation knows no bounds. The people of Gaza are not seen as humans, people in need. Hence this treatment of just throwing from the sky is so degrading and a mockery. One brother said, “Planes are dropping aid on northern Gaza, and we have become like dogs, running after a bone.”

Our Ummah in Gaza have been displaced, with no belongings, no shelter, not knowing where they will sleep, not knowing how they will attain their next meal, in fact, not knowing WHEN they will even get to their next meal! No safe water, no protection from the cold and rain; dealing with losing your mother, father, wife or husband, a sibling, a child in itself is so much to cope with. But to then have the huge impact of fear and anxiety in addition to poverty and starvation to deal with, is very burdensome and traumatic. Our Ummah is suffering this day in and day out.

We have entered into the most beautiful months of Ramadhan! The month of Fasting and Refraining. While the entire Ummah will be fasting with Suhoor and Fatoor, Our Ummah in Gaza will be fasting with no start and no end. While we break our fast with our Palestinian Mejdouls (dates), they will only be trying to imagine the taste of them. Our children will be asked what foods they'd like for Iftar, but the children of Gaza would be delighted over a sip of clean water and a piece of bread. Subhan Allah.

All the while, the tears, the cries, the begs, have fallen on deaf ears as the international community sits and watches. Not a single Muslim leader or a sole army commander has stood up to say ENOUGH! And mobilize to liberate the land of Al-Aqsa! Wiping out and diminishing, once and for all, the entire Zionists entity..

If not one case amongst the tens of thousands of Gazans has sent a pain in the heart, or a tear in the eye or shiver through the spine enough to take the action YOU are OBLIGED to make... Shame on you! The most cowardly of all people are inventing new ways to destroy the people in Gaza yet they still call upon YOU to MOVE in hope that you do something, anything! How will you justify this inaction in front of Allah (swt)? How will you dodge the question that the Rabb who commanded and said:

[يٰٓـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا كُتِبَ عَلَيۡکُمُ الصِّيَامُ کَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُوۡنَۙ‏ ]

“O You who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may be mindful of God” [Surah Baqarah verse 183]

Allah (swt) also said,

“Fighting is enjoined upon you, while it is hard on you. It could be that you dislike something, when it is good for you; and it could be that you like something when it is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know.” [Surah Baqarah verse 216]

So, why did you take no heed? Why weren’t the Hukms abided by? There will be no excuse then. May Allah (swt) hasten the end of our Ummah's suffering and allow for this to be the last Ramadan without his shield, the Khilafah. Ameen!
