European Authorities Send Muslims to be Torn Apart by Central Asian tyrants

In the early hours of Friday morning, 27 December, Swedish police urgently deported Farhod Negmatov and his three daughters to Tajikistan. Farhod was arrested immediately upon arrival at the airport in Dushanbe. He's accused of being involved in the Islamic political party Hizb ut Tahrir.

Comment:

This is not the first time that so-called European democracies have handed over Muslims to be torn apart by the tyrants of Central Asia. Despite international obligations on non-refoulement, which prohibit states from sending anyone to a place where they would face a real risk of persecution, torture or other ill-treatment, European countries brazenly violate their own laws. Here are a few examples that have been widely publicized.

In autumn 2023, French authorities deported Mukhsinjon Akhmedov to Uzbekistan, where he was arrested immediately upon arrival. They fabricated a criminal case, charged under the article ‘encroachment on the constitutional order of the Republic of Uzbekistan’ and sentenced to 5 years in prison. Hizbullo Shovalizoda was extradited from Austria to Tajikistan in 2020 and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Abdullo Shamsiddin was deported from Germany in 2023 and sentenced to 7 years in prison. The court found Abdullo Shamsiddin guilty under the article ‘public calls for violent change of the constitutional order of the Republic of Tajikistan’.

Almost all Muslims deported from European countries to the tyrants of Central Asia were arrested and convicted on the same charges as ‘calls for violent change of the constitutional order’, ‘possession and distribution of extremist materials’ and ‘encroachment on the constitutional order’, i.e. on political and religious grounds.

Nadezhda Ataeva, head of the French-based Association for Human Rights in Central Asia, said in an interview, ‘We are witnessing a massive increase in these deportations’. Human rights organisations have also reported that at least 12 people have been tortured and killed in detention centres in Uzbekistan alone over the past few years.

When it comes to Islam and Muslims, the authorities of European countries are already openly violating their laws, ignoring all procedures and abandoning the rule of law. The idea of human rights, freedom of speech and democracy were doomed to failure from the beginning and are incapable of solving human problems properly and on a stable basis, becoming just a tool of disbelieving colonisers to dominate the system of disbelief all over the world.

Muslims must realise that migration in European countries, in the hope of saving themselves and their religion, is only a temporary relief, followed by even worse consequences, like the threat of being deported into the hands of the tyrant from whom one has fled. Or the even more terrible alternative, under the pressure of worldly goods, a man begins to indulge in worldly pleasures and in time forgets and abandons his religion.

Yes, the Almighty Allah has allowed migration to save ourselves and our religion, but how long will we be moving from one country to another!? As of today, there is no escape for Muslims from the system of disbelief that rules in the East and the West! Wherever a Muslim lives, he is always a target of Taghut. Allah Almighty has said in His Noble Book:

[وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ]

“Never will the Jews or Christians be pleased with you, until you follow their faith” [2:120]

Beginning with the call to Islam in Mecca, Muslims faced persecution. Muslims achieved peace, prosperity and openly practised their religion only after the establishment of an Islamic state in radiant Medina.

Today, the absence of the Islamic state is the main problem of Muslims. The absence of the Islamic ruler and protector allows the countries of disbelief to attack Islam and Muslims. Only with the revival of the righteous state Khilafah (Caliphate) led by a righteous ruler, the Islamic Ummah will find protection and salvation. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:

«إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ» “Verily, the Imaam is a shield behind whom you fight and you protect yourself with” (Bukhari, Muslim).
